Hey I'm looking for texturing tutorials(Characters, clothing, hair, animals, objects, etc.) I don't want my textures to be too realistic but not too cartoony either. Any texturing tutorials recommended?? Thanks in advance! -

In the past i remember using a transitional guide from 3dsmax to maya from alias website. This would help you. But I can't find this anymore. :( Take your time. is there like a website or a tutorial dedicated to creating texture maps? for example: the diffuse/spec/normals of a gun, the d/s/n of a tank what I mean is, a tutorial that helps you learn material definition and how to affect that material in different map types. -

I think its fair for 3D Motive to focus on Maya/Max as id say 90% of the game industry right now uses them as their primary 3D packages.
