Concept iterations for our frizzle plant. I initially decided to mimic the structure of the black bat flower, but the plant looked a little too soft, and we needed something fuller, so we decided to add more structure and petals to make it appear more aggressive. I also experimented with roots and thorns to add more detail…
Thanks for the idea Eric Chadwick. But I meant something more like this But already dried out , without water. A desert version. Google suggests Delft3d open source software you have to compile on your own. Anyone tried what it is? I am tired of trying to make SDesigner do it believably. Ironically I used some ancient…
Looks like a old sofa. I will treat it as a pile of boxes because if its a sofa, the scale would be odd. And those boxes could be used somewhere else in the scene too :)
Reworked the sofas (I was able to put more time into them), added more ceiling shards, added a rim light on the furthest sofa, and tweaked the emissive panels a bit - top left has the "Smashed Glass" material parameter switched on :)
Hi Strikerr I'm really liking this although for me the sofa is a little too red. Perhaps you could desaturate it a little - this may be a bit of personal taste though. Also I think the sofa legs should be their own material - perhaps a dark wood.
I have a huge ikea desk + a sofa table http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/50228034/ Desk holds a 27" monitor and Cintiq. Sofa Table holds my PS3, Home theatre amp, camera gear, fights sticks etc.
Hey I have started on my first big project, I want to build a abandoned apartment. So the first model I want to model is the sofa. Im thinking using Ndo for most of the details, but for some I want to use zbrush. So what do you guys think of my sofa so far?
as much as I liked The Sims, these days this franchise makes me stomach churning considering you merely get a barebone and have to prepare for the sh*t loads of paid DLC, I bet you if you need a fancy sofa you have to pay for a sofa exclusive DLC, that's forking insane and sickening.
