Following Wenda tutorial on importing WM heightmaps I ran into a problem. My texture map from WM is offset, I put the correct terraincoordinates node with the size of the heightmap but the texture is still off.

I'm investigating alternative ways of creating terrain (other than a heightmap) and I was wondering if any tools exist in current 3d programs that would let an artist create a varied terrain. Not just rolling hills, but also sharp cutoffs and overhangs. Would something like this be possible with for example the NURBS tools?
Guys im desperate about this issue. All map seems fine but not this moment? I tried a lot of combinations but probably not enought to get rid of this "squares" of shadows. They apeared mosty at cave shape entrances like caves, hangars etc. =================
