This isn't an issue with Max. It's an issue with TexTools being updated last in 2010. The most equivalent tool to TexTools would be Polyunwrapper found via www.polytools3d.com, but it's not free. It is, however, updated frequently, and works very well.
After receiving some personal feedback from the Designer of the model (Mark Dusk), I made a minor update and added an emissive map. Also felt I should post an update on the thread as well :)
@Synaesthesia Thanks for the reply. I updated PS CC 2015 to the latest version (there was an update in the Creative Cloud). And as you said, running PS as an admin fix the problem! Thanks for the support and a happy new year!
Thanks for the pointers! Believe me, the lighting still needs a lot of work heh... but you're definitely right, not dramatic enough. Anyway, here are some asset updates. Will post some updated screenshots soon.
Long time no update. Been busy with work schedule. Updated her looks, and finished lowpoly of her head. Hair, eyelashes, and eye is just a placeholder for now, just to see how she look.
Woah. This is great. I love the hair and colors. Such a huge leap in progression from the last update. Maybe I should split my updates up a little bit ;P haha. Great stuff!
ok a bit of changes/ updates, im thinking of starting a new sculpt from scratch ,im stating to understand the flow but still need to work more on getting those forms , but heres a minor update
Had this happen at work. It actually stemmed from updated card drivers. So if you hadn't updated for a while when this started happening, anything I say won't really help. Sry. : P
ok here are some wires and a updated render, i updated the normal map to make some "harder" edges, also added in a little bit of "smaller" grunge to mix up the medium - larger stuff.
Hmm... I figured it out sorta. I updated Max, and the export/import method is working. However Xform still fails. And NO, the import.export method did not work before updating just now. :P :(
