Hey man, I'd suggest some dingy ceiling lights, just about burnt out. This might sort our some of your shadow issues and give the scene more atmosphere. Having a warm coloured light gives off the impression that its a musty, oldy type bar. Looking forward to seeing more! =) -

Maya. Apply bend deformer to a part of mesh?
Hi! I'm wondering, is there a way to bend a mesh in a way that would only affect a part of it in the middle? I know that I can use low and high bounds in bend deformer, but that's very limited, and doesn't let me do what I want. I want to twist a section of my mesh into almost a tube, but leave the other parts unchanged.… -

Compared to what? It's possable to work without a gizmo or tool handles, when you turn them off and can lock to an axis with a mouse movement its much quicker as you no longer have to focus the curser on the gizmo or handle. Best way to display organic HP models
my fav way to render my HP hard surface models is by using the shellac material wth 2 omni's and a skylight. but whenever i do it to one of my busted rock models, it looks strange. any preferred ways to show off a HP model for an organic object like busted stone? examples and tuts would be nice...
