In that first pic, what software is that? Do the textures display correctly in Maya before exporting? Maybe something simple like freeze transform/delete history will help, or even triangulation if the target doesn't support n-gons.

Because much of the gun is planar and I modeled in all the seams, I left a whole bunch of n-gons or just terminated the geometry very badly, but you asked for HP wires, so here ya go.

Nice dude! Keep it up! My only crit is that those renders seem a bit too dark. Thinking the shadows are too dense. Or you mayjust need to add a fill ligth n fix the levels in photoshop.
Just a quick update on where the sculpt's going. Going to try and find some decent refferences for the back later. Now it's back to trying to get xNormal to believe me about not having n-gons on my meshes...
1) Select an edge in the middle and press N 2) Look on Nevercenter's site, and look at Southern's minotaur series, it is perfectly portable to humans. 3) Cut it (x). Take a look at the wiki, it's got a lot of good info in it.
