Dobbler It took 48 hours (6 eight-hour days) to make s-400 model, including searching for references. And I really forgot to turn on smoothing on rear bed :) -

Out of the 6 art tests I have taken, 1 has been paid. It was definitely refreshing to hear them offer pay for my time. It was a smaller studio as well. -

If you take a 6 sided cube, make all the 90° edges hard and make each side a separate UV island, you shouldn't have any banding issues. -

another good idea is to ebay what you're looking for, alot of the standard issue equipment will get surplused and many sellers will give you 6 or so orthographic pics of the item -

thanks for the advice, i tried something similar to this with checker maps, it works fine however with several larger objects(about 4-6 meters) it kinda gets hard to be exact -

Thanks for the kind words guys :) The sculpts + UV's (when needed), textures and renders are all done over 1 weekend, usually anywhere between 6 hours and 13 hours. -
