Very cool! It's a great thing to create, though i wonder how much this technique can be used when producing games. I'm a student so trying to figure some stuff out. Anyway... it's awesome. Keep going!! Cheers
39$ (27) is really not that much, I've wasted more money on meaningless stuff before! ;) I still think this kind of teaching / educational websites should have some sort of discounts for students tho. Edit:: Ah, good to know! :)
Dinosaur Dungeon Just thought I would share one of my students projects, just because I love it :) Final Major Project, Download it and try it out. More Info click on the title header. https://vimeo.com/180562811
Aw man, I commented pretty early on that facebook post about me doing my uni work using the Beta. I could have converted a lot of students who prefer photoshops interface over substance painters ;)
More people are interested in seeing 3D and 2D character art than they are animation, clear in the number of applicants, the career plans of students and the queues of those in unemployment lines after. If thats what they want to see then someone needs to host the event...
I want one! but I couldnt afford one even if I saved my spare money for a year. I work and go to university and Student life is expensive! even if this was half the price it would still be a little too expensive.
Labyrinth> Great to hear that you are still working on this! I imported my students Lowpoly assignments and showed them on the DS. There's a nice wow factor to actually having your own art spinning on a real console ;) Keep it up, thanks!
Foreign exchange student? edit: Ah! A dog. There is one like that in my neighborhood. They are nice to have around. I don't have to sweep up my lawn clippings now that the belly dragger is being taken for walks on a regular basis.
Hello! I am a CCS 2D animation student who has taken a liking to the 3D modeling world. I will mostly be doing character art and animation but will delve into anything that interests me. Enjoy your stay. It is nice to get to show you my work. Crits are welcome but I will be journalizing mostly.
Hi! I'm a third year VFX student and I'm looking to go into lighting for film, so I've started doing some light studies of things I find interesting. I did a fairly quick automotive light study of a Ferrari F60 and would love to get some feedback for it!
