Current Update: Previous : Based the concept art from one of Feng Zhu's students, Joel Handojo has given me permission to bring his concept into UDK. There is still loads to do, the background buildings are just placeholders at the moment and there are still bits to add, fixes to make.

Here's a broad level question that a majority of people might be wondering. What are the working differences between Maya 2014/15 and MayaLT? Do you feel like there are any holes in your pipeline, or is it relatively comparable to that of the industry standard/student versions?
Gave a talk on "Working towards a Job in the Game Industry" for 3December at Rochester Institute of Technology on December 3rd. Around 150 students and faculty came to hear my presentation. I think I mentioned PolyCount a few dozen times :D
I was told by my teachers and some industry people that unless the job experience is game related, then don't include it. It makes the resume cleaner, and more room to include past game experience as a student. Though it's a personal decision on your part to include it or not.
Hehe, it's actually quite simple. I'm just using an offset uv script to cycle through a spritesheet and putting it onto a 1 poly plane. I'm sure it would be even more simple with an external plugin, but I'm a broke student :D
Do it man, just make it a modeling club instead, the freshmen students would probably benefit more from your modeling and zbrush tuts anyway. Wish i had something like that when i was a freshman in art college. :D
