HA! I was browsing through the new deviant art pieces and saw yours uploaded after 10 minutes or so :) Sick concept. I was actually going to make that except the ergonomics kind of bugged me. Hand placement looks uncomfortable. -

Bachelors in Electronics Engineering , passed out at 2010... But have been working in 3D field (modeling,rigging,game level design) since 2009 and still loving it (except for the fact that my friends earn lot more than me) :D -

I agree with all of this except scratching up and adding heavy wear to an explosive device, because that always looks wrong. Cranking the color/saturation and adding some dirt and unevenness is OK, but big scratches taking off paint looks weird. -

I do this too, all the time, but with Google+ Hangouts. Then, a bunch of folks can join up and share screen. So it more of a streaming art party. Except ZacD, he plays video games or just talks, which is cool too. -

Except you dont have a high poly source to bake from when modding, that's the biggest downside. So, it's better to create a new replacement from a scratch. I've never liked the idea of modding anything FROM a pre-made stuff. -

Oh snap its your design? Lol it looks just like the Kind Sword I have at home except a few things different, like the blade guard is shaped the same but hollow centers and a few other things. Very cool. -
Re: tri's vs. quads (presentation wise)
As a rule of thumb I would always do quads except where you need to define a triangle edge to control the shape of your model. I don't like looking at triangulated models, presentation wise it looks very dated and messy. -

Still no luck with that. I imported my whole scene into a new one and it seems to have solved the issue. I've still no clue as to why this happened. It done it with every shape I made except in a new scenes. Thanks for your help though. -

Hi, thanks for the tip but it does not work. The scene is not just dark, it turn black. Nothing is there, except for the mouse cursor. Maybe it's the graphic card, but I have no problem displaying other Occulus content. I am the only one experiencing that problem?
