Whoa, didn't see this coming. I just bought TQ Gold over Steam a couple of weeks ago. Beautiful game...and I've grown a soft spot for Iron Lore. Very sad news.
You pick up the LCE? It certainly is nice. The magnets threw me off at first I was like "oh, that's snappy!" hehe. The keychain and soft-pulsing orange USB drive are also cool :D
yeah randallwhieis has his style... it's great. I think Emil is showing great skill here... the softness adds to the beauty in a way ... i'd easily put that first one up my wall :)

If the foreground blurring is going to be texture blurring only, and not soft edges on the models, are you going to keep it? I think the environment is lovely, but the blurring stuff sticks out like a sore thumb that something is not right.
that sir is looking completely bad ass!! only minor coment is the X scar on the whale seems a bit soft, maybe roughing it up abit so its not buble like might work better.
I see that the edges of the clothes don't have bevels. Would this suggest at a glance that they use split edges for them? Or would the shading issues of using soft edges be considered negligible here?
Photoshop doesn't know anything about normal maps. It treats them as regular images assuming the values are in srgb space by default. But it doesn't matter usually because color profiles are are for show on screen. The pixel values stay same. And if you use some blending modes they just do whatever math they designed for .…
