Im in the process of finishing up a level for my online portfolio and i wanted a flyby of the environment. I was wondering if there was a way to save out the render and output it as a quicktime or anything. Any other suggestions would be helpful.
http://movies.aol.com/movie_exclusive_the_chronicles_of_narnia i suggest getting the quicktime one.. it much bigger and you dont need to install the activex plugin .. it sht eview x-large trailer button check check it
I'm having trouble navigating the site..is there anyway to just look at pictures/breakdowns? The quicktime videos are super janky Maratars' Mech is fucking siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick.
QuickTime player allows for frame by frame scrubbing and if you're looking for an online tool there's http://anilyzer.com/ but it doesn't overlay the frame number which is annoying.
Vehix is an excellent resource as well. They have rotatable Quicktime VRs of the cars, and with a few print screens, you can get many angles of the car.
The guy running this stuff is Steve Perlman, one of the creators of QuickTime and pioneers in video compression. That talk I linked above explains why/how it works.
