So, I've still been bashing my head against this brick wall, with no luck so far. Among other things, I've tried importing the SMD files using the Wall Worm plugin for 3DS 2013, but it gives me an error "bone index out of range"... So I'm stuck with FBX for the moment it seems... -

Yes, definitely putting more things in this scene! Reason I was doing lighting is because limewax suggested me to work on it before I went any further. the structure does make no sense, going to make some additional beams, and I was thinking of throwing in a brick and mortar fireplace thing. what do you think? -

Do you have a reference you're following? Most lady sculpts back in the day had slim necks, arms and feet, but anything from there on towards the body was chunky and plump. You don't have to follow the same rule, but that neck on the lady is looking really thick...someone who breaks bricks with her forehead thick. -

It looks great! i agree that the floor could use some more depth, the lighting issue, I didn't realize at first, not till i read the comment, now I do see it every time. But Other than that It's looking great, really like what you did with the bricks and the paint, and the balconys. keep it dude! -

like, a goat There are more devs adding destructible tech to their engines these days, like LucasArts and Epic. If you want to emulate what Epic does in their latest video, you could have layers within the wall, plaster then brick then studs. Epic added indestructible rebar as the final innermost layer, at least it keeps… -

As for the Xbox360 issues, people have seemed to have found the issue. It's the uber-huge power brick. It gets too hot, and causes the system to lock up/shut down. To resolve this, people have suspended it mid-air with string/rope, and the issue has gone away entirely. Expect Microsoft to be issuing a recal on our power… -

cool idea. track seams way too big ATM. cars would have to go at speed of sound to make physics on big loop even sllightly beleivable. im imagining your going to go for track sections with a more iron gantry type feel, lots of brick work arches, smoky chimneys etc -
Photoshop creating tileable textures
Hi I just discovered an awesome Mudbox 2013 feature "Tiling planes" which makes sculpting tileable surfaces extremely comfortable. I'd like to know whether there is something similar in Photoshop? It's getting hard to understand how people create stylized brick textures in PS like this one… -

im not sure if it's completely right but I think I got the shell right now. It was just that UV thing being a brick wall for me for some reason. I'll continue trying to finish it then I think I did something wrong with the last Turbosmooth though, the edges went quite round nvm increased turbosmooth iterations to 2
