Like any software can export FBX as far as modeling and UVs go.. so I guess it comes down to the animation tools. I personaly use MAX as a modeler, ultimately comfortable in it for every task I even prefer to hard-surface in Max to anything else...
I dunno. Probably the best way would be to move the edges into place while extruding. You could test it in Max to see if the same thing occurs. Its really a good idea to model in ZB. Some things go with more difficulty but then you have those fab tools and techniques that yield fantastic results.
Yep, I agree this is already pretty much at work. So far in my experience working making both highly successful original ip on the iphone (fruit ninja) and still highly successful but derivitive games (monsterdash), is that originality is a far more rewarding thing to do if you can pull it off. It is higher risk but it…
Thanks! @Fabi_G I am aware of the mismatch with the bricks, atm I'm using a scanned texture for the bricks, but I plan on creating something in Designer a bit more chaotic. The look I'm trying to achieve is this: So far the bricks are too perfect and the concrete doesn't match between the 3 blended materials I adjusted the…

Awesome idea! Looks good so far, and this just just a nitpicky thing but I think instead of ancient runes on the cloth, maybe if you had some problem words? Like their, there, they're etc. Also, I'm not a fan of where the cloth is on the hammer. It feels like it would just fall off. It'd look cool if it was wrapped around…
I think this is looking great so far. I think my only crit is the eyes being red...not a fan. Might just be me but I'm pretty sure Scarlet Witch's eyes aren't red. Aside from being the wrong color, I think they are too bright and possibly a bit oversaturated. Again, just IMO so not sure if you necessarily need to change it.
The upper eyelit looks too "fat". It needs to carve in more, both right under the eyebrow and right above the upper eyelashes. And the front of the ear is too far away from the head. But I really like the way you did the nose and the mouth Maybe she will look older if you make the front/bottom/middel-part of the nose a bit…
After getting the okay from the original concept artist Nick Bray I've recently started tackling making a 3D model based on the concept piece they made titled Mechanical Assistance starting with the helmet. It's still mostly in the general blockout to high poly phase of even the helmet design so far but any advice, even…
