have you ever used CAD software, it comes with super booleans, tons of gizmos like actual edges you can add features, too, drill holes, bend metal and so on, amazing stuff... BUT you "you have planned out every last detail before you start building" is actually true for those apps, not the "creative modellers" like… -

I'm really enjoying Gothic 3. It was a pain in the arse to get running properly with much tweaking in the config files.
