Yea I would probably have to say: There are a mother f-ton of replicas that are in some cases better than the originals. Or Sadly prop art is dying and some of the best props as of late have been all digital.
Virtuosic is a good friend of mine from school, I'm sure he will see this thread and re-post a link. If not I'll yell at him on aim for you guys :) He is really busy though working at Digital extremes.
Just amazing in every way. Although I'm not a fan of the butt, seems a little silly in comparison to the motif you established with the rest, regardless this is a triumph in digital sculpting. I would love to seem some progress shots!
The Hubble Telescope has something like 4 gigapixel, its not really a standard digital camera tho if you pointed it at earth you could aparently see the cigarettes in you pockets, cool pic tpe tpe
Digital sketchbook here we go! Gonna link my artstation here, its where I keep my best work (or what i think is my best at least). I'll be posting more sketches and what not here as well. Artstation: https://www.artstation.com/halloween_never_ends
I know i wrote i'll post mainly digital stuff, but right now i am kinda into traditional drawings :P. So here is a development of a Dr. Jekyll in space character i am making :)
What about capturing true PBR textures? Is that what the QuixelMegaBox scanner thing is capable of doing? Would the average artist be able to capture true PBR textures with a digital camera? Or would that require special lenses/setup?
So what would be the solution for a digital artist to make content that displays well on most screens? IE If I did color calibrate everything and there were no strokes visible for me; it doesn't guarantee that there wont be fore others?
well i will definately give it another, I still have to compare between XPPro64 and Seven64. As for the texture res .... I just loaded a mesh a put down a stroke - it slowed down to a one digit FPS. No good!
