We are in need of 2 character models for use in our demo project. We are all enviro. modelers and are aiming at next-gen standards. The theme is an underwater fps based in the future. We have the layout and assets taken care of, but without a character modeler we stuck. So any help with character would be greatly needed.
Normal maps are pretty much used for everything in current gen games. Displacements maps are mostly used for terrain, waves, and effects, but can be used on higher end PCs. Displacement maps can be similar to height maps which can be used for blending textures.

So I was asked to do some tweaking with the wielding and ye olde cloth- rendering takes forever... anyhow, I am moving on and building the AMP suit from Avatar; I will be taking that model to next-gen. Thanks everyone for all the wonderful feedback
