Thank you guys, here's in the editor and in the viewer :) , its all prepped for submiting ,but I wanted to hear some feedback on it first:). I found the experience preety interesting , I might do a sword too Btw, can u recomend a name?
hey thanks for the feedback. keep em coming! :) I didn't get to work on the sword, unfortunately. I added some overlay layers and painted it up a bit. I tried to add some shadows and highlights to pop things a little. again, thanks!
My buddies and I go out to the park on Sundays and swordfight with foam padded swords. And when there's 30-40 people on a "battlefield", it can get pretty durn hectic. :P That, and playing MMO's (the latest to catch mah fan-cee is Champions Online).
A friend of mine just opened the doors to the online shop for his clothing brand, and hes asked me to spread the word a bit for him. And since polycount and a few other art forums is the extent of my online socialising, here i am. http://www.izesclothing.co.uk/ Its starting small with a goovy stile trying to be unique…
Here’s my final render, made in Unreal Engine. I’ve decided to call it done for now. @Fabi_GThanks a lot for the detailed feedback! That’s super helpful. I’m still pretty new to sculpting, so I really appreciate the tips — especially about the bevels and the faceting on the fish. I’ll definitely try out your suggestion…
Not that it really matters, but FYI it's pretty damn hard to draw a sword from the back, you usually end up having to grab the blade to finish getting it out of the sheath :) Still though looks amazing as usual, thanks so much for sharing the source files!!!!
Set concept for Ember Spirit. Wanted to go for a more monk look for him without it looking too much like japanese warrior monks. Sword shaped like a chinese dao and some chinese shapes and motifs. And a chinese moustache! :] Critique is always welcome :]
I've been following it on Netflix, at first it's easy to discount as a silly show, but the plot is getting pretty interesting and the characters are showing some depth, the sword play is decent although sometimes the crazy blood and the overuse of slow motion during action makes it is a tad cheesy.
Hey people, finished the mace so far. But now i make a high poly sword. I don't know how i could make the uv without wasting almost 512x256 pixel. Should i seperate parts of the blade? greetz Endzeit
Here's an update on my Demon General. Refined the cloth a bit :) inspired by Wayne Barlowe's 'Barlowes Inferno.' Still plenty of polish left to do... I'd like to work on a sword or knife along with a sleeve for the weapons' hilt to fit. Comments/crits always welcome :)
