I didn't see a thread started for this show so here it is. Ive been watching this show since it started and am enjoying it alot. Please don't post spoilers here so that others that havent seen the show can still enjoy it.

    I've been following it on Netflix, at first it's easy to discount as a silly show, but the plot is getting pretty interesting and the characters are showing some depth, the sword play is decent although sometimes the crazy blood and the overuse of slow motion during action makes it is a tad cheesy.

    Just watched the first episode, seems pretty damn awesome if you ask me!
    but I agree on the soft-core porn and overly dramatic blood effects, they seem to be put in solely to make it "mature content"... But the women are hot :P.

    I watched half of the first episode before I felt like I was going to puke. I like Roman history a lot, like, a real lot, but even that couldnt make me watch this garbage. The director just took a great movie (Gladiator) and smushed it up against a mediocre movie (300) and this is the mess that came out of it. There are some scenes that are literally, shot for shot rip offs of the other movies. It made me nauseous at how shamelessly they stole from those two movies. Oh, and if anyone was wondering, its not like they improved on the things they ripped off, they just halfassed every bit of it.

    Costumes are pretty awesome though.

    Ive watched through episode 7 and it gets better as you go. The first episode is sorta overdone, and does rip off a lot of other movies, but so many forms of entertainment rip each other off i hardly think that matters. Sometimes the sex scenes may feel out of place but helps the show appeal to a wider audience. What i like best is this series takes its time developing the story and the various characters so i've enjoyed it so far, i recommend watching more it definitely drew me in.

    Haha, it was epic and that guy really had it coming, and really should have known better. If you're going to act like a huge douche and insult people, especially around people whose job it is to kill other people, its better if you don't do it near the edge of a huge cliff...

    It gets better with each episode. I find that I look forward to it each week. I just hope they didn't blow their load too soon. Come on, where do you go after killing "The Shadow of Death"!

    Now I know you guys aren't complaining about seeing Xena's tits. That's right, after covering up those beautiful breasts in armor so much a decade ago, this show finally shows Lucy Lawless's nipples. About. Damn. Time. And they are awesome!

    Yeah, the show's been getting better as it goes. I can't stand Spartacus himself, and the blond surfer-boy seems out of place, but John Hannah's character is awesome.
