Awesome concept, like what you have so far. But I think you need to back the fog away, push it behind the house, cuz right now it's obscuring the great contrast you can see on the house in the concept. The house should have more dilapidation/crookedness. Your trees need more of a presence as well - in the concept they are…
First off, the architecture and layout look great to me, I dig that mysterious red like coming from the inside. I think the scenery catches the eye nicely and I get a nice Thief/Dark Mod vibe from this. However, the sky is extremely contrasted while the cathedral really fades in the fog. This should be the other way around…
the problem is simply that the crystals are drawing all the attention and the entrance... just doesn't look like one. Adjusting the values and introducing a light there (or ghostly figure, whatever) is a good start, but u need to push the details there. Ur eye would want to go there, ur mind venture inside, ur curiosity…
I'm going to be working on this again seeing as I'm not doing much. Here's the redesign of the hologram machine, texture not yet 100%. There will be a couple other computers on the platform with it. The WIP high-poly for the hangar door beneath the control room. A scissor lift for the testing area, floating geo and all.…
Well I was going for a petite girl. Perhaps her head is too big. As that might be what's giver her a 12 year old appearence. Although I look at the wires and they seem pretty normal to me. Have a look: You know the faces bother me too a bit. I wasn't sure if my mind was playing tricks on me. I guess I can tone down the…
Hey guys, This is my first time posting 2D on polycount :) I did an illustration piece for my portfolio to get it a bit more up to date with my current level before I applied for a concept art internship and thought I'd assemble a process thing Because I was catering to that a little bit I went for a pirate setting and a…
if you feel like you're falling behind, keep a journal so you can see the rate of your progress. You might find that you're actually accomplishing more than you think. Also with hard surface stuff like this, the last 10% of polish is really important; a darker cyberpunk, neon-lit alleyway could be a better composition fit…
You'll probably want to look for infrared and/or night vision video. You generally don't get those kinds of streaks in motion unless you have a CCD that gets a lot of light bleeding or burn-in.
Hello, We're looking for an artist to create the visuals and movement of a very focused 1 vs 1 unique type of fighting game. This artist will have full creative control over characters, cameras and timings, so we need people with initiative and imagination. The team is very experienced but small, so we are looking for a…
Hey there, Mad Great to see you've fired this up! Great idea and lovely video:)I found out that I even still remember some hiragana, though obviously can't understand a thing. If I were to give some advice my main concern right now would be composition. I'd stray from going too square. You can get much more from making it…
