So merge the vertices, how does one know whether tris are okay vs changing topology to get back to quads? are there any good rules for when to use tris? how to switch back to quads or how to hide tris in topology?
#4 has a beautiful color palette :) Although #2 works very well with the light fabric too but you would need to keep an eye on the values there because her hair merges a bit with the background. Looking really great so far!
Alright, i'll try out the fast way first. If it ends up not working, i can always merge vertices into one mesh. I was just confused and didn't want to finish the whole thing the wrong way xD Thank you :)
Not really a fix, since I know nothing about programming, but, have you guys tired merging the files to a clean scene (with the new scripted material)? Kind of like the reset x-form, but on a scene level. Other than that, sorry, no experience.
Yeah as gwot said there are no edge tools, if you want edge extrude there is a workaround tho, make a 2-point-poly, and extrude that... But then you have to merge points, and unify polygons because it will make them double sided.... Really lame shit.
turtle, tested almost all, none that I tested is better. Fast, layer baking, merge layers to one map, simply great, self occlusion off, etc. And good quality. Don't use turtle 4, use 5 or up.
I was merely replying to Arsh's decision to stop coming to the forums because he feels alienated. I just don't think he should leave because of it. The thread was pointless and needed to be deleted anyway. Arsh just made it happen sooner.
Yeah but as you see those walls are connected , the curves on the walls are supposed to connect , if I model it piece by piece am I supposed to merge them at the end then connect all those vertices together move them around until they fit together? That's what I'm confused about.

Make sure you're not exporting groups, then check model history and freeze transforms. Check to make sure all verts are merged. If it still persists check your exporter and settings or export them into a fresh scene file, you may need to start a fresh package if these all fail.
