Hey everyone I am looking for character artists to do some cute 3D ISO characters. They are essentially 3D characters rendered in ISO view. Please PM if it interests you. I have some 20-25 characters in the pipeline that can go immediately ! Cheers !
Hey all! I'm starting a new character based off of a Blade and Soul concept piece a friend of mine found. Just curious, for a character between 20-50k tris, how would you break down the UV's and materials for this guy? Looking forward to input!
my approach would to create 20 different tilable texture: ie concrete, wood, metal etc - you got enough materials to create variants there. and some for atlasing textures of posters, graffiti, or decal stuff. I would then assign them to their respective meshes. this would require you to unwrap around the textures, and…
I found the issue, the file was made in an older zbrush version and i opened it with a new version, that and also the main subtool in there was a character i made and was sculpted to over 20 mil polys with lots of layers so i ended up baking all the layers to the model and never had that issue happen again.
Funny to see this thread here, as I just baked an interesting book project on kickstarter talking about something related to this topic. 20 dollars VERY WELL spent, IMO. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stephenmccranie/brick-by-brick
What's your reference? 20 year olds can look like anyone. It will be hard to udnerstand visually what you're aiming for as a target without some reference images that you're looking at while doing this. Is this for a school assignment as well?
America was like that 10-20 years ago but the few megamedia-corps bought them all up and shut them down. I didn't include satellite because I was talking about competition between cable providers.
Well if you're using it mainly as a PC then allocate like a 80% Win 20% Mac split. If you're using Mac 1/2 the time then 50/50 split. Give Win atleast 40gb at the bare minimum though.
I don't know where you live but in the US this is what the small claims court was made for. You don't need to lawyer, you just pay a small filing fee (~$20) and show up in court with your evidence.
