This is so fucking cute lol... I just wanted to point out one thing (It's nit-picky but worth mentioning), and it's the fact that on the front, you have the Katakana for Milk wrong, but on the side panel it's correct, with it being ミルク. Other than that, can't wait to see the spec and final version. Nice work so far!
There are plenty dedicated writing forums on the net, Granted they are not normally directed solely at game writing but a story is a story. Look at script writing as well, for use of ques/actions. This site should be of use: http://www.writingforums.org/ An of course Tv tropes: http://tvtropes.org/ Get stuck in, follow…
The textures themselves look great, although I do agree with the bit about the abdomen. Maybe you can enlighten me on the function of this sword? It also looks as if the handle of the sword has a slight 'S' shape and I'm curious if that was on purpose or just a mistake? And to be SUPER nit-picky, theres a seem in the wood…
Great painting! I love the lighting and colors you chose. The reflections on the ground and the way you've placed the tree in the foreground are a really nice touch. The perspective on the tables feels just a little bit off however, but that's being extremely nit picky. Wonderful piece! Do you use any reference when making…
Configure it how you like, save the scene as "maxstart.max" into your 3dsmax scenes folder and it will load every time you launch max or if you reset. I like to toss a 6ft tall measuring stick into my default scene just so I have some sort of scale ref to go off of.
This is something that I was going to be writing a tutorial on because I've never came across it on the net anywhere but you can make physics actors react to wind by adding a NxGenericForceFieldBox to your level, it can be found in the actor classes tab. I'f your interested you can also set up tornados with the radial…
Thanks for the advice Grimmstrom and Tiros - The blurriness in Unreal was driving me a bit nuts.. I thought it was a mip map problem too, but couldn't figure out how to get it to stop. Ill def try the lod-group trick tho - since this scene is basically just a diorama the performance drops aren't a big issue :)
LOL should have read this before I clicked you're sig. link. Avast went nuts and FF gave me the big middle finger. Anyway, the book looks great, I'll have to pick up a copy (I use Max, but you can learn new things from any book :) ).
I had an interview at one company where they took me to one side and directly asked me what my political affiliations were. Totally illegal of course. He was a dreadful little twat of a man anyway, so I just smiled politely and just mentioned that I was n't in the hitler youth or anything.
Hey there! This is my first attempt on subdivision modeling a weapon. I know that an ak-47 is the most boring asset ever, but I had to do it. So, I threw a bunny to make up for it! Since I'm not really experienced in this, and also happen to not be a gun nut, I'm looking for crits everywhere! When I'm done fixing this high…
