I could never pick just one game. Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask were always an inspiration to me. Though the're old, the art direction still holds up. Skyward Sword is gorgeous too.
OKAY TIME FOR MEGA THREAD OF PICS! I still need to do the sword, but the rest of it is done. Here's some pics of it shaded, with polypaint, only with polypaint, and just with a matcap on so you can see the sculpting. Enjoy!
@thomasp That's some awesome reference and pointers, and actually it seems right, he does seem narrow in shoulders now that I look again at my sheet. Thanks a bunch, it's very useful. I notice now his sword:
Hey guys, first post here. I would really like some constructive criticism, and/or positive feedback on my newest creation! It's a medieval longsword based off of the design of Robb Starks sword from the "Game of Thrones" tv-series. Tell me what you think!
Hi I started this piece about a month ago and my laptop died so I had to wait for a new pc to finish it. It's based off a sword from Final Fantasy IX and also has some Prince Of Persia in there too. Anyway feedback appreciated....go :P
My question is very confusing, so I will do my best to word it. This is the Spider-Man model from Insomniac Games Marvel Spider-Man 2. The only model that is from Spider-Man 1 is the photo taken in Maya (blue wireframe). During the 2018 ZBrush Summit, the modeler for Spider-Man at the time (Leroy Chen) said that he cut the…
This is a very nice thread indeed and good progress on the model! A user above (Neox?) used word "giger-esque" and I can't un-see it now. In last two posts you seem to gravitate back to mechanical patterns. Imagine, uhh, a zen garden with patterns made in sand with a rake. I mean, if it's a style choice (and it totally can…
Make Fiora (and her sword) bigger, is my first idea here. Next, I'd like to clear up what is going on. It kinda looks like a medieval or early 20th century setting, maybe something in the war times ?
Not bad for a model, but just do the same thing you did with the sword; sculpt some details then bake some maps. using Valve's texture guide is really the best way for a beginner to learn how to texture models easily
Small Update: I added some details to the lower part of the body. Also, Whatstrue: Yeah I do plan to model the weapons. I'm just missing the swords now. Maybe the chainguns were a bit too much...
