Recently finishing university, I've finally decided to start a digital sketchbook. Here is my most recentl project, completed last week for an Art Test. Wanted to do something Star Wars related.
Hey Everyone, This is my first digital sketchbook thought Id give it a try as well as get some helpful C&C. Ill be posting a lot of my recent work In here along with my current projects
Does my camera need something to track it's own position in space? I'm about to use a digital camera, but it does not have a gyroscope or anything like that. I imagine not but I just want to be sure.
hmmm ... seems like the saturation and colors are both shot to hell ... how do you get better at doing digital painting work. all i can think of doing is studying stuff like this :S
I am trying to start to learn color as i can do for digital painting, especially hand painting stuff. I tried to look for anything, But most of the videos are timelapse, which is confused me.
I put together a quick walkthrough on Artstation of how I made a portrait of the Critical Role character, Jester. Hopefully it can provide some insight on digital painting workflows and how to pace the rendering stages. :)
