in poly modifier when doing operations like extruding and other stuff as soon as you hit right click you get your last transform tool back like move, rotate or scale- maybe it gets somewhat close to your 'g'- key.
I made a new Protean video so it's easier to see the transformation, old video was very dark and shadowy. http://www.ericchadwick.com/img/protean_transform.html I'm also playing around with a timeline. Thoughts? Without timeline: With timeline: I think it's kind of a nice feature.
Cool been wondering if it was possible. I've always just gone into Axis Mode (insert) and clicked on the reset ball. Puts it back at Local Transform&Rotate 0,0,0. So I can tinker from there. That looks like it needs a shortcut key setup. ^_^ heh
run through all the common fixes here: freeze transforms, delete history, weld verts, smoothing groups, delete and recreate problem edge, export to obj > import > smooth past those, it's been a while since I worked directly in maya, not sure.
OK warby I found something similar to what you're saying. I think you're using unsigned normal maps, which for your engine means a 128 color is considered a non-bent normal (pointing straight up on X/red). Here's a quote from one of our graphics programmers: [ QUOTE ] Signed normal maps are useful for helping to hide…
I started working in Blender and immediately saw the benefit of having a 3d cursor as a reference point for transformations. Now I am back in max and I want it back! I am trying to scale vertices toward a pivot point, but instead they scale toward their individual centers, is there any parallel in max for this?
Ive been exporting for little over 30 minutes and Im already frustrated with delete history, freeze transformations and then export. Anyone know of a good automation similar to TS_Tools? I used this when I was on Max and absolutely loved it http://www.tomshannon3d.com/2014/07/tstools-first-release-ue4-mass-fbx.html
i have this maya file with a highpoly and a lowpoly , all of them i deleted non deforming and regular history, freezed all transforms , but for some reason the file keeps getting bigger and slower and i cant use it to work like this , what do you guys think it could be ?
www.ghostscape.com Johny already suggested I remove Optimus and I think he's coming out, he is old work and quite frankly doesn't look that good, but I'm a transformer fanboy. Please be brutal. I don't work in the industry yet but I'd really like to change that.
First off, hello. I am new to Polycount, so hello all. So, I need *a lot* of help in Photoshop CS4. I understand what the program is for and basic things like importing images, and transformations, but apart from that, I'm a complete rookie. Any tips or links to tuts will help, thanks.
