What kind of hardware? Updated video drivers? Why 2010? That was probably one of the buggiest releases there have been in max history. I would jump to 2012 or go back to 2009. -

In 3ds max 2010 we could easily fix seams or do photo-realistic texture painting using viewport canvas. by capturing viewport, open it into photoshop, fix seams or make changes and update texture. now I'm trying 3ds max 2011 and I could not find any tools to do something like that. all available tools just lets me paint… -

did autodesk change something with normal or light presentation or access in fx shaders ? i have fx shaders that work fine in max 2010 and max 2011 but in max 2012 they seem broken. the normals or the lighting seems broken. if i have a mesh with mutli materials on it the normals seem to get different lighting positions for… -

From what I gathered the latest version is from 2004? Any plugin that works for Max 9 will not work in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. You could try contacting the guys. Also, where did you put the RPM.dlx? -
