looks great. One thing though - u have "605" flipped on one side because u r using same texture for left and right side. Maybe just remove the number to quickly correct the problem. -

I tend to do em by hand as well, using collapse and remove edge loop and it goes fairly quickly. Though I have to agree with Rob that it seems like there should be a better, more automated way to do this. -

That definitely looks like you have a cylinder and some other objects in there that are using default UVs, so it is overlapping with everything else and causing funny things to happen. If you can upload the exported model we can take a look at it quickly -

I always recommend this video by Zack Petroc. http://www.zackpetroc.com/skeleton-and-muscles-lecture/ It's not the most in depth, but he covers many important landmarks very quickly. It's what boosted me onto my journey of learning anatomy. -

A former colleague of mine used single-use gloves made of cloth to prevent getting burned by the cintiq. I think he cut off the tips of the glove fingers for better comfort. They got dirty pretty quickly though. -

Cheers Fenyce! The stump is just a basic shape to quickly show what it looks like on a rounded surface. The actual tree will have more geometry where I will model some of the fronds so it doesn't look all flat. -

Right, if download limits are so restrictive.... Then buy the textures and download as many as you like? I have to say, I am impressed with how quickly this turned from seemingly a hobby to a full blown service. Well done! -
