I don't know how it will relate to games. For movies though, I'm digging HD-DVD more. Blu-Ray uses Mpeg2 compression, which is pretty funky. I wouldn't want to use the controller light-gun style. You have to make sure that you're always pointing at the IR device, which can be pain sometimes. My thoughts: 1. win XP 32 is almost dead(near complete EoL). On the other hand it cannot support more than 3,5Gb of RAM(with dirty tricks). x64 is superior in all the aspects. I render 100k sprites ( with different size, color and texture ) in xNormal to paint the stars... I bet a too-brutal method ( :D ) for modest hardware... but it's fast for modern hardware if you use geometry shaders and texture arrays. If you like the brute force point clouds see this too :P… -

There's a MMORPG where you can convert real-world cash into the game currency, and vice versa... so you put lots of money into the game to buy a house or a vehicle or something, then you can make money off that (in the game) and convert your earnings back into hard currency... pretty ingenious. Well, the tricount of the hi res is over 40k. But here is the low poly one with wire. As you can see it's 2626 tris now, but I'm a noob in maintaining a low polycount and I also wanted to add the bolts and screws to the low poly (which would be like 15-30 tris each). and below a higher res hi res :)
