Hi, so I have been watching this and in it he is having a facial control GUI with one set of controls which moves in their own Y and X axis. I can't get it to work and there is no walkthrough in the tutorial on how to do this, but maybe someone has any idea how, if still possible in Maya 2013, you can do this. The control…
As CV for the USC Games' program in general, here are previous games that the program has finished and "shipped" in previous years, and/or currently developing. This is the quality of games we've been able to create in less than a year each. Some examples of Final Games in year's past: Blink - a Stealth Action game…
Do you have any posture collections in biped's Copy/Paste rollout ? There was a bug in some Max versions filling this rollouts with copies and copies of postures. Might look if thats the case ( pretty hard on hundreds of bipeds ...), but there might be a cleaner script on scriptspot as far i remember Another thing is…

Probably for the same reasons bees use a hexagonal shape? Less resources used to create the container, less energy expended to create it, better stability, more can be packed into a tighter space ect... http://www.npr.org/blogs/krulwich/2013/05/13/183704091/what-is-it-about-bees-and-hexagons Maybe the crate of the future…
Oh no no, you just need to skin the mesh to bones prepped for cloth use. In the same folder of the "Rubick.MDL" file theres a "Rubick.cloth" file, its rather simple to create cloth file, just need to name it after the MDL you want to use it on. For the bones to work you need to name it with a sufix, like BONENAME_R0C0. R…
I would use PTEX in mudbox to paint your highpoly, you won't need to setup uv's that way. If you don't want to do that, have you tried toggling the [x] Smooth UV's option? As for your basemesh - you would definitely need some edge loops down the middle of your geometry, what you've got there is anything but evenly divided…
I recently went through this class/tut and it was great at explaining things. https://www.udemy.com/3dmotive-learn-the-hand-painted-texturing-style-for-video-games/#/ That site has a lot of sales, so if you can't swing the fundage now, just check back once in a while. I picked it up in a humble bundle set up for like 15…
I think it looks good! What happened to the broken parts that you wanted to model in? You could model out some trims on the bottom of the fountain like in this example. If they are not too exessive you could even get away with it without baking it anew. If you're not quite sure how to do it check out this tutorial. She…
