I started working in Blender and immediately saw the benefit of having a 3d cursor as a reference point for transformations. Now I am back in max and I want it back! I am trying to scale vertices toward a pivot point, but instead they scale toward their individual centers, is there any parallel in max for this?
Hello everyone! So I've been modeling in Max forever but I everywhere I look to study about how to create realistic hair, it's all Maya and XGen, what's there to do in Max or do I have to start using Maya for that? If so, I'll have to learn Maya as a beginner :/
tried to test the trial of max 2k9, then at the end of installation it gave me an error message, and told me to contact the system admin (hum) since vista sets me naturally as not the admin.. how do i become admin of my own fucking computer? max 8 installed fine though.
I've been searching around for quite a bit (including forum search) and can't find a decent rundown on using Image Based lighting in Max Mental Ray. I know marmoset can do it, but just out a desire for knowledge I'm trying to learn in Max also. If someone could share good links or advice, it would be greatly appreciated.
Hy! In 2012-3 max already have mouse settings (Pan/Zoom/Orbit change), but where i find in 2009 max? Any way to change this? (in my mouse was 3 free butoon, maybe set them to viewport control).
