I did this in Max, but want to know how I can do this in Maya Loop select the edges Move the edges up with constraints to edge turn on. here is what happend when I do this in Maya, cuz I don't know where the constraints to edge is in Maya. The OMToolbox's slide tool is kinda weird to use. So any Maya users know how to do…
In the office we are making a small game project and here is what I came up with for how the artist would like to control the in-game cameras. I'm not native English speaker so I hope you guys can understand the slides. Comments and feedback are more than welcome. I would really like to hear whether this is a good path to…
Hey, cool project :+1: Some aspects I think you could improve: * man-made structures could be grounded more in the environment by adding some weathering and (dirt) gradients. * spiraling trunks look too artificial. You can counter this by introducing more irregularity and more stretch. * Tree trunks colors is currently a…
I've also just noticed the number of sides on the arms - is that a 12 sided cylider? I'm guessng te legs are bout 1o sides? If so you can cut that down easily - for a 4,000 polygon model I'd really have no more that 8 sides on an arm or leg - any more than that and really don't notice it in a same engine.
i think this topic should be about the tech and not the unethical portrayal of dead people . judging from the video it looks very realistic except for some sliding but that probably wasn't even noticeable from the audience point of view. i'm up for some yugiohish hologram cardgame battles! (but with cool creatures)
Added ceiling and a sliding "door".. also played with more settings heh. I went back to the warm lighting to see how it looked, I think the cooler lighting works better, actually, heh. It feels like it's in the desert now. I'm still unsure on the colour scheme.. any thoughts?
I wouldn't sweat the slide and hammer as those could be internal. However I would consider adding a front site to compliment the rear site you have already built. In addition I might suggest you texture the grip to differentiate it from the rest of the "lower receiver." It's looking good!
what's up with this drop to the ground and slide at the speed of light while still being able to make turns thing that many games are doing recently? i don't like this trend at all. it just looks stupid. are todays gamers now even to lazy to walk inside a video game? :P
I don't think the film studio would let it slide if it weren't the same quality. I think it will be great. I'll be seeing it Sunday morning though, as I hate dealing with Friday/Saturday night kids. It's not 'cool' to go Sunday morning, so I can avoid most of them
I dunno man, not to discourage you from coding up a new tool, but I would check out Crowd first. Sounds like it already does this, and solves the foot-sliding issues. Better to try to use something that's battle-tested than go thru the rigormorale of a new tool...
