Thanks! For the protruding fibers on the hat, I used the same technique of the peach fuzz. Are done in Zbrush with FiberMesh ( I used two kinds of fibers to create variation, it is a lot of geometry), exported in Maya to transfer the normals of the hat on the protruding fibers! Conform spline line over a model 3dsmax
I know I can use the freehand tool over a model but I wanted to make a more precision line along the surface of a model ... How can I do that? In particular I created a mesh pattern I want to reproduce along that spline to encircle the whole hat here and create a straw hat.… -
