All respect due, but that's just bollocks. Granted, it won't beat a regular defrag and general good housekeeping, but to say that it isn't worth spending the mere minutes that CCleaner requires to run is pretty stupid.
Oh, ugh. Yeah, I should probably have said that these two sides aren't merged yet since it's a bit easier fixing things if theres anything wrong with it. Thanks though! :3
Ely : not exactly *fail* for accurately modelling and rendering all these systems tho. It's not like this guy was unaware of the less popular ones. And he was not just putting together a mere slideshow to graduate in VideoGameHistory either...
AIM watches convos and suspends, too I got suspended for merely asking Vailias for a crit on my gargoyle model, and no this one had no cock either... ICQ doesn't watch <3 icq
watch the border down the center, you'll need to merge the center verts, it looks like a similiar model I made messing around with the gnomon face modeling for games. Good job tho.
I think I know exactly what Jerc is getting at. Been playing a bit with photogrammetry, but haven't gotten any good results yet. Will try again when it gets cloudy and see if I can setup a test in SD5. :)
Yeah i've never used it for any final products other than to play around with things, I used to think that the smooth preview = the low poly, thanks school! They are currently merged, perhaps I made the gap too large?
Really quick heads up: I found this super helpful Reddit thread with some recommended IRC clients. I'm currently using HexChat, which seems to be one of the best. Other options are the good old mIRC, Pidgin or this website.
I just meant have to make cuts and connects to make quads and triangles haha. As far as smooth merge goes, I just mean how you created the two shapes I circled in the pic. They flow evenly together
If I'm not mistaken, CryEngine 3 expect the glossiness map to be in the normal map's alpha channel, it probably ignores your gloss right now. You can do this by using the RGB-A merge node before you normal map output.
