Substance Designer Textures in Cryengine

hi @ all, i'm have a hard time to get my SD Textures "PBS workflow" into Cryengine, the textures are looking fine in SD but when importing them into cryengine everything becomes so glossy ???

The strange thing is, when creating textures in SP, everything works just fine!

I'm not very well aware of how the cryengine works, but do you have a setting to control in which color space the texture are ? The Roughness/Glossiness map should be in linear. Also note that the roughness in the exact inverse of glossiness (in term of values).

I don't have the possibility to change this within cryengine, i think it has something to do with the settings in SD.

I had ones the same kind of problem in UE4, after unchecking the srgb box the probem was gone. But like i wrote before, the strange thing is, when creating the same texture in SP, no problems at all.

You mean doing the same thing in Painter and exporting it to CryEngine will work fine ?

Thats right, exporting the textures from SP works fine... Exporting the textures from SD gives me this wet glossy look...

Can you post a simple Painter project and a .sbs showing the problem ?

If I'm not mistaken, CryEngine 3 expect the glossiness map to be in the normal map's alpha channel, it probably ignores your gloss right now.
You can do this by using the RGB-A merge node before you normal map output.

SD gives me 4 maps, Diffuse, Spec, Normal and Glosiness but this is not the problem, i just have to merge the normal and gloss map in photoshop "like all PBSTextures for cryengine". Substnace Painter gives me also 4 maps but they work just fine within cryengine. Just the created Substance Designer maps are giving me this glossy issue. ???

Are you exporting tiffs from SD? I remember some reports of the tiff export being buggy in soem cases because it's not using a standard bit depth.

I'm exporting PNG's, hmm it's really depressing am i the only one with this kind of problem ?
