This is coming along nicely. But I think your lighting needs adjustment to get closer to your reference. It helps to place your renders side-by-side with your reference, so you can directly compare them. Also, are you thinking about adding more foliage? -

well, asmuel, consider this... Assassin's Creed claims to have better AI on 360. Mass Effect, Fable 2... 360 exclusives [may come to pc, but not ps3]. RE5 is Xbox 360 aswell. UT3 will come on PC. Killzone 2, Lair, MGS4 [which (i bet) will come to PC in a few years] and Haze are good reasons to get the ps3, but... the 360… -

I am big fan of the new triplanar nodes. I am also fan of MG_dripping_rust node which comes with Substance Designer. Solved this with a solution suggested by my colleague. 7 rows of python code was all it took. I'm pretty much querying every frame in my range for it's value. Then creating new indexes with colors and positions in a ramp node. I.e. keyframe value = color and frame = position.
