Thanks everyone! <3 Small update: 512 x 256 Tileable Bricks Bigger version here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/58237309/Portfolio/AndyHansenBricks1024x512.png Hopefully some different materials soon, thanks again for looking. :)
It still looks great! I wish I could travel to exotic areas and photoscan statues like that. I'm trying to find cool statues to photoscan in the San Francisco area, instead of just trees, rocks and brick walls.
Did up the floors today, might make some changes still. The larger outer brick is pretty big and a little more rough around the edges than I intended so I might make it cleaner tomorrow.
personally I would shit bricks constantly, i dont know how you handled the stress of what KP is getting at. I guess im just a paranoid hermit who is scared of the underside of his own hands....
1 Picture = 1000 words. You are building people, not a brick wall, therefore right angles are banned! Have a look at my tutorial discussing the evil square. http://www.rsart.co.uk/?page_id=51 And the rest of ye - start linking to it!
[ QUOTE ] nice, could you show wires and the normal(s) map for the brick walls? [/ QUOTE ] Here are the cage models and the normalmap for this asset. I think I'll re-bake the model onto several individual maps later.
looks great ... i cannot even begin to comprehend bug fixing on an environment like that, when you can climb *anywhere ... "bug 1300452, proceed to eleveneth brick along from top left of cornice ...". Mental. But loveley
code crunch is complete. Got all the basic system in and working. Came up with a developer camera system that allows me to build environments how I want with the 2d camera and it will see through anything. It's a material trick. Once the look is right with foreground middle ground and background then I'll turn off the auto…
So, finally started with substance designer. Made a basic brick tile texture, inspired from The Order's artwork. Here's the screenshot, along with a very unorganized substance graph. Have to be more organized from next time.
Liking this thread! This was my first character I designed and created (second character I made, lost that one though, thank god!). Background was adapted from some free resources (brick pile and wall texture).
