From what I've heard Autodesk didn't have time to completely finish 2012 before it's release deadline (April 8th) and that they plan to have a service pack out much faster than usual. I just want Nitrous and the UI to run as they stated it would and I'll be happy.
Couldn't agree more, easily the best battle scene I have ever seen in either film/tv. Everything about it from the fx, choreography, camera work, tactics... all incredible. One question about your screenshots though: Why the skeletal horses in the 7th image?
looks nice . I would say tighten up the color scheme. Make it more WOW-ish. Maybe give the sky a little bit of a pink hue and make the grass bit more yellow. Sth like that. Also: the sky is not bright enough for the illumination its giving IMO.
We almost didn't hire poop back when he first came to interview at Mythic, just because of his name, but once people actually saw his work it swayed their minds. The 8th floor seems so much quieter without you Poop! Congrats on Gun!
17/2/2022 -Got most of the proportion as close as the original sketch after 14th attempt based on the comparison . It will look much better with completed textures and shaders. -From now on I will be focusing on getting the anatomy right on different angle , then move on to retopology and macro-detail

Thanks, yeah, i have been looking at the face thinking, why doesn't it look right?? i think its just one of those cases of looking at it too much and not noticing. Will work on that after i'm finished remaking the jacket for like the 5th time >_<
9th Knight: thank's man! alexd: glad you enjoy it! Game mesh done! Ended up being about 4905 tris. here is my first bake. Gotta fix a few things and its off to a quick texturing with Quixel and integrating it in game.
I think it lookso tight! Right now it doesn't look very 1920s. I think you might have lost something when you decided against clothes. athe this point the only art Deco is gonna come from his environment
I was only able to work on this over the weekend. I am trying to push through and keep on practising, posting all the crap work and hopefully I will see some improvements later on after my nth character. Update for this week: * Worked on the clothes and face.
