I'm looking for some help with modifying a HL model. I need someone to point me in the right direction as far as taking apart a .mdl and repainting it, then how to recompile it. I'm aiming for an egoshooter game, enemys are zombies.. I would avoid Modo for modeling if your goal is low res game art. Its nice if you want to pump out some pixar like toons but modeling wise, I just dont see it.
