Progress Update Low-poly and UVs are done7433 tris used with a 2K texture at about 32px/cm pixel density. Normal baking in Toolbag went pretty smoothly!Next, I’ll finish baking the rest of the essential maps, then it’s off to Substance Painter for texturing! Any feedback or suggestions are always welcome! model
Just a quick side note, if you wanted to go ask other devs (not on p.c.) say youtube videos or channels(as an example), about how their devs worked around these issues you might turn up some helpful, time saving feedback, that is IF they respond to it. Alternatively some peeps that have already fixed this could also just…
well - i mean its on Godot now (as of when unity did 'the thing') so I'm not sure when or where this information came from if the thing about unlit shaders is true I'll be really interested in finding out what he did cos it sure as hell looked like it had lit shaders when i played it last
Hey everyone, I appreciate your help! I experimented a bit, but I'm curious about how to achieve the refractions in the glass. I attempted to apply the texture to a flat solid mesh, but it appears too flat. I'm aiming to create the look of glass blocks. What would be the best way to model this? Should I go for a solid…

I'm currently working with trim sheets to texture a roof, and I'm aiming for a smooth geometry. I'm curious about how to achieve a smooth appearance on low poly models without baking from a high poly mesh. When texturing in Maya with trim sheets, do you simply add bevels to the low poly to enhance its smoothness? Or is…
Hey there ! A WIP post this time ^^ Cosmetics. Yep. Let's talk about them for Star Wars - Redemption. First of all don't worry, I don't plan on going in a "modern" way to incorporate everything from other universes inside the project. The goal remains consistent with Mevenn's story/character and aims just to give more…
@MrNinjutsu Really top notch stuff! Didn't realize you've had a presence here for many years, also your YT channel helped me out while ago after stumbling across Blender tutes for making zip ties and sticky tape - I'm into large air/land and sea vehicular assets so like the mirrored solution freeing up UV space for that…
Some friends and I were part of this year's studio layoffs so while we search for new jobs we decided to work on a game together! It's basically a simulator game where you run a book store, similar to TCG and Grocery Store Simulator but we've got some plans to push the genre farther. I've been mostly working on the…
