That wood looks gorgeous... Can you give me any tips on how to start painting in such a style? I'm really interested in it, but I find it hard to find anything about it on the net. I just found this forum and try to find something. That's how I came to this thread :)
This is looking amazingly cute and adorable! the environment is awesome looking, nice low poly, stylised feel to it. The only thing that might need a bit more work for me is the steam from the tea pot. But that's just me nit picking hah. Awesome work dude keep it up!
Thank you laforced! These are some great links. I believe Evolver Biped Binder is the one I want because I need to bind to an exisiting skeleton, not one I'm creating. I couldn't find a download link for it on that page though or anywhere else on the net for that matter.
les pauls have a both convex and concave shapes to the top of the body, it's not flat. the headstock also leans backward, and yours is a little too thick. also, the neck on guitars tapers in width and depth the closer to the nut (the plastic/fishbone part sepperating the fretboard and the headstock), and yours doesn't.
Thanks Shift that would be great any help is much appreciated :) I think I'm getting there with the car paint material its not looking to bad atm, just something not quite right not sure what though... From the examples I've seen on the net it definitely can be improved.
Yeah. Knock yourself out. As long as you give credit. If it's a dude from the net ask him first to show you're a good guy. They are generally up for it, the people that aint... they're just asshats. But yeah, I don't think any studio would whine about it.
Thanks guys. @doeseph: I have been modeling cars since 2003. The reason for that is I am a big time car nut. I love cars, old and new, and love taking them from a single cube to driving 120mph down a street in a video game ;)
Hey there people. I'm trying to ignore the fact that my thread is still incorrectly named (it's severely bugging me) but anyway, here's an update on the buggy. Still a way to go on the high poly but this is what I've done today Any help would be much appreciated! Go nuts :)
They have a few in the documentation on their site. You have to log in to see it all though. Yea, Simplygon like almost all simplification tools works on tris only and won't preserve quads or edge flow. I would give my left nut for decent quad-optimizer.
So cool. Rockstar should take note they need to make a new bully! Love the fly through everything looks awesome. Only critique is the globe could maybe use some more geo. But that's super minor and nit-picky. Overall Top Notch! Great Job.
