This tut looks like the very thing I need to get all I have learned so far together. My only concern is that the video might be getting outdated... can anybody tell me if this is true before I fork out the money?
I'm in the process today of creating a brand new design for this project of mine. thanx to both Inside and Impala88 to both of your ideas for the design and the pics for ref. With the input i'm actually going back and using a more sr-71 look I think with the SU-47's wing design(both main and tail) and its design as a…
I don't think there's a magical brush setting that's going to get you instant results. Sure, there are some that help get the job done but something like that could easily be done with a simple hard round brush with pressure sensitivity. You're likely better off just picking a brush you're comfortable with and running with…
So I have a character entirely built out, rig and all. I need to do multiple animation clips, but I keyed my entire animation before creating a character set. I DID get two animations into the trax editor under a single character set, but when I go back to edit one of the animations, I have to use timeline under [No…
Ok, so I'm still doing my other studies, gave up on a few competitions. I noticed Arena net is offering an internship with just the prerequiste of one art test. So I'm trying my hands at it. I thought I´d knock out most of the details before I shared it so people can get a sense of things, hopfully I didn´t make too many…
I am researching the feasibility of using about 20 cameras in Cryengine stitched together, and rendering out of each camera's sequence separately, then stitching them together in after effects. Now making that happen isn't really the hard part. The hard part is getting the cameras to be aligned as close to seamless as…
Is this just for like a couple of lights or a lot. You might be able to get the world space position of the light and do a dot product with face normals though again this might start getting really slow especially if its updating in realtime. Bardler's suggestion sounds like a better option.
Hello guys, iam working right now for a little project using the new nDo from the Quixel suite. At the "old" nDo 2 i could remember that i was able to select the maps you've created and copositing them above channel links - named like normal/diffuse etc. - to overlay them all on a 3d view. (To See how Normal and Diffuse…
House selling sucks ass at the moment. But buying a house is actually a pretty good idea. The housing market was in a huge boom in Arizona up until two years ago. Right now its at the lowest its been in decades. The positive thing about it is that property is dirt-cheap in AZ for anyone who is looking to buy. You can get a…
My knowledge is a bit dated and there are probably aspects were getting a bachelor helps, like if you want to get into teaching yourself down the line or get government subsidies for education if that's available in your country (or simply to get a breather for a while), but since lots of your skills will transfer, I'm not…
