How do I change the viewport rotation method in max? In example to rotate locally around a vertice? I thought I knew how to do this at one point, but it has since escaped me.
I am trying to move a bunch of vertices with preserve uvs checked.Problem is they keep snapping back and Maya gives this error: Unable to preserve uvs.Disable the preserve uvs option to continue with this edit. Is there a way to fix this?
Avoid using transparency wherever possible. Add the few extra vertices to clean up the silhouette and save on rendering performance by using an opaque material :)
serialkiler: by the sound of it, that's exactly what caused him the problem in the first place. A lamina face is two faces on top of each other with merged vertices.
The bottom of the magazine is too much of an angle, it should be more vertical. I'd also try to make the curves of your weapon more elliptical and smooth.
