Hi, I saw a nice post on next gen assets and in the middle I found this gif to explode a model scaling the pivots (Alt+ in Blender): Is it possible to do a similar thing in Maya? Until now I always moved the meshes one by one.
I found a PDF tutorials here recently but can't seem to find it, it shows to to create a next gen 3d model, its not poop's but another guys. >< sorry for the inconvenience I just can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance
Hi. Im looking for juicy tips and tricks when it comes to interior lighting. Could be from cinematography, next-gen games and theater sets. Have been looking around some on internet. But have not found much that meets my expectations. Take care, Oscar

Me too. Give this a try: Open 'Content Browser'. Access to 'Texture Poperties' by double-clicking on every texture map. Play with Mip Gen Settings, specially TMGS_NoMipmaps ... hope it helps!
Yep next gen is here thats what is has to look like, loving it. Is the video rendered frame by frame or do you get any kind of like "playable" framerate out of it?
The entire world would be affected by the ashcloud from the resulting eruption, so I imagine the entire world would look like The Road/Next-gen Game :P, at least for a while
Microsoft has been Sniffing around Onlive for months now. As Ninjas says, they are just prepping themselves for sale. I keep saying it...this next gen is going on The Cloud in a big way.
Started building on the low-poly and a question popped in to my head: What is the standard tricount for a character in a next-gen game? How many would you say this character could have?
