Here's me demonstrating the same thing happening in Maya https://www.dropbox.com/s/niv2geptee4jfso/2017-08-24_21-35-28.mp4?dl=0 Forgive me trying to dock the UV toolkit panel, seems to be a bug. Transformations -> Components are a hierarchical thing that exist in most 3D software.
Just setting up the beginnings of the scene I plan to put Proto in for the Unity Neon Challenge which I just found out about ^_^ Details of that are here: https://blogs.unity3d.com/2017/12/01/neon-challenge-announcement/ Animation for the scene I have in mind is also underway. Feisty!
What version of Maya are you using? 2015 they added Unfold3D tech into the mix, and there were a lot of UI changes in 2017 Update 3. Mark Seams = Cut Seams Unwrap command = Unfold command Also, why just just unwrap in blender and bring it back into Maya. No one will be the wiser. :)
Tweaking some values, mainly changing opacity from 0.2 to 0.7 as seen here should give a better effect. https://wiki.unrealengine.com/Two-Sided_Foliage_Material edit: and I think the white leaves are from your normal map, the it may be so extreme that it's pulling light as if it was facing 90 degree's.
Thanks. The detail on the actual man isnt final and I will be taking him back into Mudbox (touching up on the lower division version). Yes, President Schwarzenneger passed the bill in 2017. The plate finishes just below his knee. Theres a rubber section just above below his thigh.
Yes that's correct. Here are some video tutorials on it: Substance Painter: The official tutorial has been removed so it might be changing in the latest version, however here's Michael Pavlovich talking about it: 018 Baked Lighting Filter - YouTube 3D Coat: Baking Lighting & Reflections in Unlit Shader - YouTube
Thanks AGoodFella, I see what you mean with the weapon, I think the issue is that in my ref he's using a nerf axe so it's really light I'll play around with how he holds it. Good points with f17 and f72 I'll re-work the poses!
I installed the colors python script into Maya 2017. I received this error. # Error: line 1: ImportError: file C:\Program Files\Quixel SUITE 2.0\colors\main.py line 1: No module named PySide # I don't have a lot of Python experience and I'm not sure how to remedy this. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
A couple of years ago (2015-2017) I had the opportunity to work on Ark: Survival Evolved and its first two DLCs (Scorched Earth and Aberration). Here's some of the stuff I did for the project: https://vimeo.com/247906669 https://vimeo.com/246736036 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTZYenRF2Xg
