Holy freaking AWESOME! Now that we've gotten that out of the way, a couple of things stick out to me. The thighs seem rather short, as someone pointed out. Maybe not the bodypart itself, but the armor on it is definitely way small. Compare with the Halo 2 image posted above. The feet could also be a problem. As seen in the…
A neat little art pack for game developers. I've been working on variations of these for more than a year now, these are modified meshes, updated texture resolutions, a new fresnel/reflective shader and come completely driveable right out of the box. They also have NGUI touch support built right in!…
This is why I love this forum; I didn't know how to do that either, and now, from browsing through other people's work, I do! I'm literally learning something new every day on here :) Hayden; any plans to do the interior of the garage or make a crazy flying car thingy to go in it? Saw some really cool Russian Cold-War…
Hey there, I really like your model so far, very nice hard edge work on the armor (? if i can call it like that :) ) Obviously there is some work to do on the pants, not quite sure what you were trying to do at the moment, you can't feel the cloth and or the fold, pretty messy. Maybe you should head in something a bit like…
Guys, he is entitled to his opinion-no matter how unpopular. Some of you are just egging it on. One does not become a idiot when they disagree with you. Thats just as bad as his fanaticism. (And yes, the comparison to me is not lost ) Besides, on reflection, I could point out that Star Wars wasn't >that< great or even…

God of War 3 will likely tip me to finally buy one if an impending price drop dosen't. :D Anyways, maybe this is a better response to the…
One option is you could Polypaint a hires mesh in ZBrush and then retopo the hires mesh (with as many polys as needed) and UV unwap it (or try decimating it if you want to stick with lots of polys). You can then bake out the base color vertex painting from ZBrush using XNormal (vertex bake). You could then import the baked…

To make this clear - this is an art test I completed and turned in a week ago. The purpose of this thread is to show the thing off, show the stages of progress, perhaps help people learn to do it, and maybe get some tips for doing it better next time. Hey there Polycount, just posting some WIP screens of this art test I…
Hey Everyone, I posted here a while back and got a few really good artists to join the project so I thought I would post again. This time around I only need a good 3D animator though. Depths of Peril is a fantasy action RPG that in some ways is similar to other games in the genre (Diablo, Titan Quest, etc.) in that it's an…
