I think my shitty Christmas is the winner. Due to bad weather and power outages, I couldn't travel, so I spent Christmas alone in my two-room apartment, eating day old, store bought macaroni salad. Mudbox is the most expensive unless you buy a non-commercial license which I think is about $299. This is the way I look at it: Silo= Cheap, effective modeler with sculpting. My only gripe with Silo is that you are not going to get the level of detail sculpting that you can get in Mudbox or ZB3.....but it is a dam good… -

I bet it does. MPEG2 on a DVD can only go up to 10mbps or so, though cameras often compress lower than that. DV is always about 29mbps. However... my sony dsc-t100 digicam records in MPEG2, and actually has better quality than the DV camera. Better/newer CCD I think. -
