World of Goo
Anyone else play this yet? Downloaded the demo yesterday, haven't touched another game since, and am completely in love with this game. Just far beyond the expectations, even after following it from the Tower of Goo prototype. Never liked bridge building programs, but somehow this has captured all my attention.
Won't even recommend, but urge with all my might to try this game out. http://2dboy.com/ . I believe it is available on Steam also.

After loading the service up and not finding it available for purchase I went on the web and found out that it's not being released in Europe until next year... and it's going to be a fully boxed, retail game with a price point of £29.99. Yeah. We have to wait months to play it and pay through the nose for the pleasure.
It's on my list of things to treat myself to once I get a job
I kept dragging the goo's into the cog wheels to add onto my structure until I noticed that they kept exploding.
The Tumbler is my favorite. I didn't think I could build a structure so fast.

I'll probably drop the 30 for it but still, thats pretty bad. I was also willing to fire up wii ware one night and buy it but apparently not...
I'll add my reccomendation to the list. It could use about three times as many levels, but aside from the shortness, it's great.
and the demo doesn't even show the really cool levels \o/
No, there is the online goo tower building thing though. Other than that, I believe 2D Boy talked about adding in multiplayer for pc later on.
I'm pleased to see this game doing two of my favorite things from Braid - "undo's" instead of savegames, and the ability to skip a puzzle that's getting you down and keep playing forward in the game. Awesomely designed. And, yes, the music is really impressive.
Tetris is next...
