For the Maya part, it looks like a z-sorting issue, not a texture thing. Go to Shading above the viewport and select Polygon Transparency Sorting. For Unity, what shader is the material using? For this I would try Transparent > Cutout > Diffuse. -

6 hours aint enough for me, ive got quite a physical day job, and work regularly to 1 in the moring, but if i do that too often i end up writting crapp like this instead of working =Z -

Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately I will have to try out MoP's script on my next project. Mark (hehe, same name), I tried out the script, but I couldn't "Ctrl+Z" to get the objects back to their positions. -
Offsetting subtools to tile in zbrush isn't working properly
This might be a lot easier to understand if you could see the video tutorial I'm following, but it's a paid one so bare with my description alongside my texture screens. Perhaps a GPU RAM or driver issue - I recall Mari as being very selective about graphics cards: Is the card and driver you are using tested and/or certified by the developers? Do you have enough VRAM to perform your action in the first place? There might be some way to display your VRAM usage inside the app, else there is… -
