The colour is very saturated and it doesn't seem to vary much across the environment. Blending a couple of textures together would help make it seem more natural and less like orange carpet. As for transitions and things like that, look at where an object, whether it is a rock or building or tree meets the ground and see…
I personally like where this is going Pitman :) I love the rocks and the foliage thats embedded in the rocks, the fern piece i think needs work as well as the scale of your fence posts and fence chainlink texture. With a nice skydome and maybe another prop in the distance around the area where you can see through the hole…
Really awesome! I love the style and the colors. Feel free to take it or leave it, but I think the sand could be bumped up a bit to help differentiate it from the rocks. Not too much, but just a bit. Right now I feel like the rocks are getting a bit lost in the sand - though maybe that's what you're going for. Anyway, a…
put a bone at 0,0 name it root skin mesh to bone export it all as a FBX export just the bone as an FBX ??? Profit :smokin: also this In reguards to your designs, give them more love! Right now I'm looking at both of these and they seem identical other then a hue change, For an earthshaker ward there should be some…
Looking pretty awesome so far! Just a few quick suggestions, Again, don't be using the 'polaroid' preset in Marmoset, it's like an assault on the eyes. The 'sunlight' sky preset would probably be best as it would match the model, geographically and all that. Some AO would also help to add depth to the interior, the…
Just WOW! man your textures are amazing! Im learning or trying to do handpainted textures but im so bad... can you recommend some tutorial or something? I just started doing rocks, wood and "easy" textures but when i see textures like yours i get depressed :( PD: Its my 1st Polycount post and the english is not my native…
@Jaston3D I'm not 100% sure but the Rawks forum on polycount might contain what you are looking for. I had trouble making rocks and things and I check that out, it has an aweful lot of pages with all types of rocks, stones, cliffs etc. So might be helpful to you? Here is a link:…
MILLA!! I didn't mean you! It's cool, I've had a lot of other people tell me stories worse than yours about young people, your grandpa was older and I figured his case was like you descibed. You've put a lot of important info on this link and that's what's important. No harm done, you totally rock for your awareness. Also…
For your terrain you really should look into some blending, whether its vertex blending or not. ATM your grass looks to much the same, all over, then it sharply hits rock. Blending between the two all over the place a little with a softer blend where you need rock will help a LOT. As for the tyre marks, decals are usually…
Hey guys, first foray into substance designer here. Just trying to make some rocks. Have a look. The 2D view is viewing a blend node, some fairly chunked up rocks. It is being piped into a normal node right after. In the 3d view you can see some weird... circles. These circles arent visible in the blend node. When I switch…
